Two people writing their names on a lock, attaching it to a bridge and throwing away the key to forever secure their love is such a simple and romantic gesture. Love locks. Love.

I would like to sit here, under these flowers and alone on a quiet spring day, right now. Bois de Boulogne, Paris.

1. WTF. ARE THEY CRAZY?!
2. I love the tag line.
3. I love the French.
4. This is gorgeous. Bravo.
The Seine, Right Bank. I love the topiary in Paris - tall trees shaped as enormous flat walls, smaller trees sculpted to be as compelling as the statues they share a city with.

Adele’s official music video for “Someone Like You.” (In February, I posted the video shot in her home. If you haven’t seen that one it’s worth a watch for the interview and a glimpse into her house.)
This video is set in Paris and begins with Adele walking west on the Right Bank (Le Rive Droite) away from Jardin des Tuileries and towards le Tour Eiffel. She makes a left on Pont Alexandre III… and if she continued over the bridge to the Left Bank (Le Rive Gauche), took a right, another left eventually then went straight for awhile, she would have ended up at the apartment I lived in this spring. I walked that path (often listening to this song) almost every day. It was always especially gorgeous at night.
