Hey, Tumblr friends! New public art is being installed in Madison Square Park!
Cherry blossom loveliness.
The Seine, Right Bank. I love the topiary in Paris - tall trees shaped as enormous flat walls, smaller trees sculpted to be as compelling as the statues they share a city with.

Adele’s official music video for “Someone Like You.” (In February, I posted the video shot in her home. If you haven’t seen that one it’s worth a watch for the interview and a glimpse into her house.)
This video is set in Paris and begins with Adele walking west on the Right Bank (Le Rive Droite) away from Jardin des Tuileries and towards le Tour Eiffel. She makes a left on Pont Alexandre III… and if she continued over the bridge to the Left Bank (Le Rive Gauche), took a right, another left eventually then went straight for awhile, she would have ended up at the apartment I lived in this spring. I walked that path (often listening to this song) almost every day. It was always especially gorgeous at night.

I made this for a Google+ test I was doing on functionality. They’re some of my favorite photos from my time in Paris. Spring 2011

Oh, to sit on top of the world on a sunny, Spring, Monday afternoon, overlooking Paris from Parc des Buttes Chaumont, chatting with your lover, friend, brother, sister, cousin, what have you, about anything and everything. Does it get better than that?

Spring has sprung! With all the gardens, parks, and patches of earth, there are flowers everywhere I turn. Loves. Taken at the Jardin Catherine Labouré.
